Juno Technologies Wins Black Pitch Contest

Montreal, Quebec: On the 25th of May, The Black Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Canada Society named Juno Technologies as the winner of the Black Pitch contest at the Black Business Summit. Jackee Kasandy, a highly successful entrepreneur, founded BEBC in 2020

“Winning that pitch, it was a moment where we felt like we were seen, which might not always be the case.” says Nanette Sene, CEO of Juno Technologies.  

The Black Pitch Contest is an annual nationwide competition in Canada. Over the course of several months, 230+ participants compete to the finals. A panel of judges, as well as public votes, select the top 5 finalists. During the Black Business Summit in Vancouver, each finalist will pitch their business for a chance to win $25,000.

The finalists for the 2024 Black pitch contest were: Komino, Juno Technologies, Onetrip Technologies, South central greens and Workandchill. Regardless of the competitions’ outcome, all finalists receive Access to: Advisory Circles, 1-on-1 Mentoring, Pitch Bootcamps & more!

About Juno Technologies: Juno Technologies is a medtech startup founded by two women, focusing on women’s health. They are developing a revolutionary device to relieve menstrual pain without medication.
