Montreal, Quebec:, On June 11th 2024, the Gala DémoDay, hosted by La base entrepreneuriale HEC Montréal at Place des Arts, celebrated innovation and entrepreneurship, recognizing young startups from Quebec. In front of an enthusiastic crowd of over 700 attendees, twelve emerging startups presented their business, competing for one of eight awards, with cash prizes reaching up to $10,000.
The event highlighted the achievements of entrepreneurs from HEC Montréal’s intensive six-month support programs. It served as a platform to spotlight startups that have made significant impact in their respective fields.
We are thrilled to announce that Juno Technologies won 3 different prizes for a total of 16k during the night!
– 1st Prize Acceleration 2024 ($10,000)
– Communication Prize 2024 from Société nouvelle ($3,000)
– Public’s Favorite Prize 2024 ($3,000)
The other winners of the evening included:

– Impact Prize 2024 from the IDEOS Pole ($3,000): Gamotech
– Best Marketing Strategy Prize 2024 from the HEC Montréal Chair in E-commerce ($3,000): Alcyon sel de mer
In addition, nine more awards were distributed based on final pitches leading up to the gala. These included:
– Impact Prize from the IDEOS Pole ($500): Cafénix, Unel, Admis, Scikoop
– Engagement Prize for Outstanding Entrepreneurs awarded by Robert Dutton ($2,500): Fares Bazoune (Housing Hawk), Matteo Mastropasqua and Thomas Dubois (Savie), Julie-Anne Selman (INFIRNAA), Arnaud Maheu, Thierry Michaud, Olivier Cyrenne, Karl Rivest, and Rafaël Flores Custeau (MonGym), along with Jessica Lahaie and Sébastien Témoin (Omyload).
